ServiceStamp Rewards is live. Sign in to your account, or create one with just an email, and you will find a new Rewards tab beside your checks. Inside it is our first partner, Assist Protect, and a deal we are pleased to put our name to: six months of Total Motor Assist, free, with no card details and no automatic renewal (normally £29 a year). Alongside it sit a free Shell discount fuel card and DriverSave, Assist Protect's set of motoring discounts. Sign in or create a free account to claim them.
We will be straight with you about how this works. Assist Protect pays ServiceStamp a fee if a member later chooses to renew a paid benefit. It does not change what you pay, nothing renews unless you say so, and the benefits are Assist Protect's, provided under their terms rather than ours. We chose them because the products are genuinely useful to the people who use ServiceStamp, and we would rather tell you about the fee than have you wonder.
Who Assist Protect Are, and Why We Chose Them
Assist Protect is a UK accident management company. For fifteen years they have run accident support schemes for the motoring, leisure and housing sectors, and they say more than 220 organisations and over 125,000 members now use them. Their products are not insurance. They sit alongside your insurance and fill the gaps most policies leave: who recovers you after a crash, who gets you a car while yours is repaired, and who argues your corner with the other driver's insurer.
The partnership runs both ways. Assist Protect members already get ServiceStamp checks at member prices through their DriverSave benefits, and from today ServiceStamp customers get Assist Protect's benefits free or discounted. The page you land on when you claim is built for our customers, with "courtesy of Service Stamp" on the join form, so there is no code to type and no hunting for the right offer.
What Is in Rewards Today
Total Motor Assist
The headline offer: six months free, normally £29 a year. If you have an accident, Total Motor Assist gives you:
- UK-wide accident recovery, even when the accident was your fault
- A like-for-like hire car delivered to you while yours is repaired
- Manufacturer-approved repairs that keep your warranty
- Legal support and private medical care after an accident
- A 24/7 UK-based helpline
- Cover for every car in your household, and your family
When it was not your fault, all of that happens without a claim on your own policy, so your excess and your no claims bonus stay where they are.
DriverSave
Free with any Assist Protect membership, for as long as you are a member. DriverSave is a set of motoring discounts you can use as often as you like:
- MOT tests from £44.99
- Servicing up to 40% cheaper than main dealer prices
- Breakdown cover up to 55% cheaper
- Savings on car, van and motorbike insurance
- Dash cams, trackers and accessories at a discount
Shell Discount Fuel Card
A prepaid fuel card from The Fuel Store, free to ServiceStamp customers:
- 3p a litre off standard petrol and diesel at Shell, about £2 on a typical 50-litre tank
- Over 1,100 Shell stations across England, Wales and Scotland
- Prepaid, so you top up when you need to, with no credit checks
- No card fees, admin charges or transaction fees once the card is loaded
- Extra cards for family members and other vehicles
Two things to know before you apply, both from The Fuel Store's own terms. The first load is £60 (£10 to activate the card, then £50 when it arrives), and every penny of it is yours to spend on fuel. And if the card is not topped up or used for six months, The Fuel Store charges £10, so use it once a season and it costs nothing. The discount applies to standard petrol and diesel, not premium fuels, and the card is not yet available in Northern Ireland.
Other Assist Protect benefits, including Total Van Assist, Total Motorbike Assist, Total Cycle Assist, Lifestyle Assist and Total Property Assist, are free or discounted when you join. The details are on each offer's page in your account.
No Card Details, No Automatic Renewal
This is the part we like most. You join Total Motor Assist with your details and your car. Nobody asks for a card. Before the six months end, Assist Protect will invite you to renew for £14.50 a year, half their normal price. If you do nothing, nothing is charged and the membership simply ends. If you renew, that is when Assist Protect pays us the fee mentioned above.
It is a membership service, not an insurance policy, and it does not replace your motor insurance. It is the support most policies do not include.
How to Claim
- Sign in or create a free account. Enter your email and we send you a sign-in link. No password, no card, and you do not need to have bought a check.
- Open Rewards. It is in the Account section of your dashboard, beside My checks.
- Pick an offer. Each card has a short summary and a Learn more page with the full benefits and the questions people ask. The button takes you to Assist Protect's page for ServiceStamp customers, where you join with your details and your car.
The Small Print, in Plain English
Rewards are provided by our partners, not by ServiceStamp. Each offer is subject to the partner's own terms, eligibility rules and privacy policy, and the partner is responsible for providing the service and handling any claims. Benefits, free periods and prices are set by the partner and may change. ServiceStamp is not an insurer or insurance intermediary and does not give financial advice. We may receive a payment when you take up or renew an offer; it does not change the price you pay. The full wording is on the Rewards page in your account and in our terms.
What Comes Next
Rewards is built to grow. We will add more partners and offers over time, always in the same place in your account, and always with the same rules: no card details to claim a free benefit, nothing that renews on its own, and a plain statement of how we are paid.
