A verified, tamper-proof record of your vehicle's complete service history, pulled directly from manufacturer databases. The same record the dealer network uses internally, ready in minutes.
Three things separate a verified digital service book from any other record of your car's history.
Records pulled directly from official OE databases, the same systems franchised dealers use day to day.
Cannot be forged, lost or altered. Unlike paper books, the record lives at the manufacturer, not in your glovebox.
Permanently tied to your vehicle's unique identifier. Follows the car for life, through every change of ownership.
Everything you'd find on a paper service stamp, plus the detail paper books never had room for.
Date, mileage and servicing garage for every recorded dealer visit.
Detailed breakdown of services, repairs and parts replaced.
Official service stamps from manufacturer-approved dealerships.
Verified mileage readings to detect clocking or discrepancies.
Make, model, engine, colour and full DVLA specification data.
When the next service is due based on manufacturer schedules.
From paper to digital. For decades, car owners relied on paper service books to track maintenance history. These booklets, stamped by garages after each service, became essential for proving a car had been properly looked after. But paper records had real limitations. They could be lost, damaged, forged, or simply forgotten in the glovebox when a car changed hands. By the time a buyer asked for the service history, the answer was often a shrug.
How manufacturer databases work. Since around 2012, most major manufacturers have maintained digital records of every service performed at their authorised dealerships. When you take your car to a franchised dealer, they log every service action against the vehicle's unique VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). That creates an immutable record that cannot be altered after the fact, providing genuine proof of service history that buyers, insurers and warranty providers trust.
Why digital is becoming standard. The industry has moved decisively towards digital-only service records. Many manufacturers no longer issue paper service books with new cars at all, relying entirely on their electronic systems. The shift benefits everyone. Buyers get verified proof of maintenance, sellers can demonstrate their car's history even without the paper book, and the industry reduces the long tail of forged service stamps that used to plague the used market.
Coverage by brand. ServiceStamp retrieves records from 39 manufacturers, including Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, SEAT, Škoda, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo. A digital service book proves how the car has been maintained. It doesn't cover the legal side: outstanding finance, insurance write-offs, stolen markers or mileage anomalies. For a buyer or anyone selling a higher-value vehicle, pairing your service book with a Vehicle History Check (or the Full Check bundle) gives the complete picture.
