Flat pricing from the first check.
Trade accounts are for people buying and selling cars for a living: dealers, traders and garages, sole traders included. This page covers applying, pricing and how trade differs from retail. Back to all help topics.
Apply once, approved by a person. Fill in the form on the trade page with your business details and rough monthly volume. Applications are reviewed within 24 hours, and approval arrives by email with a sign-in link. Sole traders are welcome; a company number helps verification but is optional.
One activation, then flat prices. Trade starts with a one-off £9.99 activation. From your first check onwards you pay the flat trade rate: £3.99 for a Service History Check, £3.99 for a Vehicle History Check, and £6.99 for the Full Check. There are no volume tiers to climb and no subscription. Trade accounts do not receive retail discounts or offers because the flat rates already sit below them.
You only pay for results. If a standalone trade Service History Check comes back with zero manufacturer service records, the amount you paid is refunded automatically. The report is still delivered with the MOT history and vehicle data, and no action is needed on your side. The refund policy has the full rules; retail behaviour differs, covered under checks and reports help.
30 book slots are included with trade. Keep a digital service book for each vehicle in stock: photograph the paper history that arrives with a part-exchange, confirm the records, and hand the buyer a share link or PDF. Additional slots are a one-off £1.99 each, and deleting a book when a car is sold frees its slot. The full lifecycle is covered in service book help.
